5K POKER RUN/WALK

9:00 am – Beach 1 – Presque Isle State Park

DATE: April 15, 2006 (Saturday) – 9:00 am

COURSE: Presque Isle State Park, Beach 1. The race goes out & back on the Old Lake Road.

ENTRY FEE: $15, including a premium for pre-registered by April 10, 2006.

DAY OF RACE ENTRY FEE: $10 with no premium.

The premium will be first come, first served on race day to pick your choice of premium. Your choice of premium will be from shirts, sweats, bags, shorts and whatever we drum up for a varied menu of premiums. They will be brand new Poker race items with the 2006 design.

The same idea of playing cards and finding JOKERS will be used again this year. We will have over 50 joker prizes along with awards to the first five overall male and female in both the run and walk.

To continue the tradition, this event benefits the Erie Runners Club Scholarship program. The proceeds will fund the scholarships distributed in August.

Post race goodies & prizes will be at the Beach 1 bath house immediately following.

Please state size on your application for ordering purposes. I will list shirt size and figure my order from that.
